THE JOURNEY
Spanish Rioja, Portuguese Douro, Catalan Priorat and the Alentejo are not simply wine-producing regions. They are territories where the history of the Iberian Peninsula was written — wars, treaties, monastic orders that preserved cultivation techniques, trade that connected Iberia to the world. This expedition uses wine not as a product but as a tool for understanding centuries of historical, cultural and political transformation in two countries that share deep roots.
