THE JOURNEY
Published in 1605, Don Quixote is considered the first modern novel in history and the most widely read book after the Bible. But more than a story about a mad knight and his squire, it is a window into 17th-century Spain — its values, its dreams, its contradictions and its deepest identity. This expedition travels to the places where Cervantes lived, worked and found the characters that inspired his work, using literature as a key to understanding Spain.
