THE JOURNEY

Medieval Spain is not just a collection of ruins and monuments. It is the living history of how a continent took shape. On this 12-day expedition, we set out from Barcelona into the interior — Girona, Besalú, Cardona, Albarracín, Toledo, Ávila, Segovia, Valencia, Montserrat — and return to the Catalan capital. Each city is a chapter in an extraordinary story that begins to be understood when seen up close.

ITINERARY

Arrival in Barcelona

Welcome reception and first group meeting. Free afternoon to settle in. Walk through the Gòtic — the historic quarter that preserves traces of medieval Barcelona.
